God's Not Dead, but has the creativity for Christian films been buried?

In the past couple of years, the genre has burst into the mainstream raking up big bucks at the box office. However, just like every other genre of film, it deserves to be judged and critiqued according to the standards of cinema - no saving grace here. With the rise and success of so many faith-centered films, you would think that the days of low-budget bad actors, audio and cinematography would be gone, right? 

Well, maybe there's a bigger issue at hand.

As for God's Not Dead 2's score - it makes improvements from the first while still contriving a story that requires the faith of 10,000 mustard seeds in order to comprehend.
