Never Rarely Sometimes Always | Let Us Explain

NEVER RARELY SOMETIMES ALWAYS (2020)

A teenager's unintended pregnancy sends her and a cousin across state lines in search of medical care. The third feature film from Eliza Hittman (It Felt Like Love, Beach Rats) is a starkly told and intimate glimpse at the obstacles that a young woman faces when she seeks out an abortion. Starring newcomers Sidney Flanigan and Talia Ryder in breakthrough performances, 'Never Rarely Sometimes Always' won awards at the Sundance and Berlin International Film Festival earlier this year. Amanda the Jedi joins Art & Zach for this breakdown of one of 2020's early contenders for best film.
